how to escape

If we follow Chinese Lunar Calendar, our very first wedding anniversary will fall on 20Dec (11th month 11th day) this year, which is also on the same day as Raya Haji. Since hubby's dept may also shutdown until next year, and i have 1 week leave to clear, we are going to...*deng* *deng* *deng*....stay at home whole week until New Year.

If not, where else to go lar? Go makan? Go shopping? Please give me some suggestions. I dun want to stay at home and watch Astro. Oh yeah, hubby subscribed Astro Metro for me. He also moved the Poang chair back to my territory, under the fan, in front of the aircond :D Dun you wish you have a hubby like mine? ;)

I just have to thank zoe-t for bringing back some cinnamon rolls all the way from KL for me. Was supposed to take the box from her on Sunday but hubby was not around and we were heading off for dinner, so timing not ngam ler. Anyway, got the box from her on Monday morning. She said that she has forgotten what were the flavors in each box so i have to taste them and find out. If she hasn't told me there are 4 different flavors in the box, i would just taken for granted that all of them were...cinnamon rolls. So i took each out and sniffed each of them, trying to identify their difference. I could only tell that one of them was apple cinnamon rolls. However, the rest of the rolls smelled and tasted the same to me :P Oops, i forgot to take a pic of them and by the time i remembered, there were only 1 left in the box. Such a glutton. Anyway, i didn't eat them all by myself. Passed 1 to sis, 1 to hubby and...*ahem*....2 for myself :D

You may see the pic from Dan's blog. He taught me how to enjoy the rolls but unfortunately, it was too late. By the time we reached home, only 1 roll left. Who cares about heating it up, i just walloped the last roll :D

Motocross Bedding

It is Xmas time and it is time to exchange presents among our family members. Since our younger sister just got married last week, we plan to give her something nice and suitable for her bedroom. Maybe we can find something useful from Motocross Bedding. My friends have been telling me about the bedding from Motocross Bedding but i have yet to visit the website.

Yesterday, i managed to take some time off from my hectic schedule and peeked into the website. Oh my, i just love their bedding galery. my son =)

His head is on my left and the legs are facing my right, the body is right under my belly button. No wonder i could feel movement on the right side of my tummy more. Sometimes, he kicks so hard that you can see my tummy move, most visible when i'm wearing white/tight blouse. However, when a stranger touches my tummy, it will stop moving immediately, maybe he only recognizes my palms. I am still waiting for him to show me his elbows and knees. Like doing karate in my tummy huh?

My cough is disturbing him during the day especially when i have to cough real hard. So he takes "revenge" on me, by waking me up at 6.12-6.14am every morning, by squirming around in my tummy. At least it's better now cos once upon a time, he always woke me up at 3.45-4am *phew*.

One bad thing, there are a lot of new moles all over my body and dark pigmentation underneath my armpits. Gross leh? And quite a large dark pigmentation on my right cheek, slightly nearer to my ear lobe. Will it go away after labor or stick to my face forever? I can now happily declare that i have a 36inch waist with a 39inch butt and it keeps growing wider and wider each day. That's the price you have to pay.

1 now, 1 nescafe

Yay, it's raining cats and dogs, fish and frogs now. Lucky thing i didn't wash my clothes yesterday, they would have smelled bad by the time i am home later. I wonder why, when it rains, all i think of is nescafe. The nescafe ad must have great impact on consumer. Whenever it rains, drink nescafe. Too bad, no nescafe for me unless it's decaffeinated.

Bad song at bad time :P It's right after lunch and i'm listening the song that will make me fall asleep in no time and worse, together with a bar of choc. But i need that to calm myself now. Just had war with hubby and i'm not feeling okay :(

When i returned home yesterday, i saw the red chair sitting in the middle of our living room. I wanted to say, "I told you so" but decided to keep the mouth shut. In the very beginning, i've already told hubby to not get the Poang Chair from IKEA from our last trip, but since he likes it so much, we took it home. So now, the problem is we have no suitable place to place the chair. And when hubby suggested to bring the chair up to our room, which is quite empty, MIL said no. What?!??! She has no say wat. I want to bring it up to my room means i want the chair to be in my room. No other sofa in the living room meh? Why want to put the bulky chair in the hall? For you all to put your legs ar??? RM299 for leg rest???? Humph!!!!

no more shopping

The germs is gone today. No more sore throat, no more diarrhea. I'm fit and healthy but still under sleeping spell, as usual. But i'm very pissed off now. First, he said he has to attend a course so we cannot go to Jusco member day tomorrow, okay fine with me. Then, he changed his mind and i tot we're going to grab a lot of cheap things from there. And NOW.......he is not free again!!!! I hate it so much when people change plan at the very last minute or change plan a few times in a day. Damn it!

in pain

My throat is killing me, i can't even swallow my saliva properly. People say mix lime & honey will help but i've already taken 2 cups of honey lime and i'm not recovering yet. Have to gurgle with salt water later. This pain is contributed by hubby. Why? He refused to go visit the doc and in the end the germs is passed to me. Right now, he is well and healthy and I’m down with sore throat and diarrhea. $#@#@!!!!

tummy ache

I think i'm down with food poisoning today and it's bad!!! I just returned from my 2nd visit to the toilet. My tummy started aching when we were halfway to office. You know, as usual, Monday morning is when everybody jam the bridge cos lots of outstation people go back to work or study on Monday morning. So hubby had to drive like mad person, cutting in and out the lane, and sped all the way to office. Imagine what he will do if i say i have to go to labor :P Tummy is still not feeling well and i'm hoping it doesn't affect my baby. I dare not take any medicine even if the doc says it's okay to take them. Dun want to take the risk.

We saw the doc at about 10am in the morning. We were both very anxious and were waiting for the day to come since our last visit last month. The nurse instructed to me to lie down while waiting for the doc to scan my tummy. Hubby asked the nurse whether he could see the ultrasound visual with me, so the nurse asked him to stand beside the doc chair. The doc, as usual came and scan my tummy, showing me where the head, spinal cord, heartbeat & legs of the baby. This time i could see the eyes of the baby so clearly, including the chubby legs. Then the doc asked me, did i know whether it's a boy or a girl, i said nope.

Doc: Si ta phor (it's a boy)
Me : Si ta phor?(it's a boy?)
Doc: Yeah, that the bird. Can you see it?

I saw a blur image of the birdie but still just couldn't resist but to ask him again.
Me : Confirmed?
Doc: Confirmed si ta phor. Look between the leg, that's the bird.
He continued to zoom in between the chubby legs and show me the smallest birdie i've ever seen.

We thanked the doc and proceed to the pharmacy to pay and take my vitamins. Hubby was so blur (or too happy) that he forgot the way out of the hospital. In the car, i asked him how was he feeling. He said "Honestly, i'm very happy". If you ask me how do i feel, i will tell you, i'm both relieved and happy my first child is going to be a boy. More kids to come and hopefully the next one will be a girl :D

i'm back

I was back to work yesterday but just too lazy to update anything from my 6 days holiday including a trip to Ikea. If only i could stay at home and be a housewife. If only i have internet connection at home, my blog rank wouldn't have dropped so fast. Oh well, as if i bother so much lar. As long as i made enough USD last month :D

My baby is kicking and squirming inside my tummy and it's getting more and more active each day. Sometimes, all the movements make want to pee so often. Iskh!! I have yet to know whether it's going to be a Minnie or a Mickey but either one is fine with me. I really hate it when people ask me whether i want a girl or a boy. It really pissed me off. So what if it's a girl and what if it's a boy? Got difference meh? Both are my blood and flesh, i mean our blood and flesh. I dun give a damn.

Ahem....as long as the baby is as pretty as me (if it's a girl) & as good looking as hubby (if it's a boy) =P But I hope the baby does not turn out to look like my in-laws *gulp & face turning green*

Happy Deepavali

I'm going hiatus from tomorrow onwards till next Tues. To those who are celebrating Deepavali and planning to invite me to their open house, please try to accommodate to my busy schedule :D :D

Wed-Thurs : Hotel stay with in-laws and hubby ( if only they dun tag along, bad bad DIL :P)

Friday : Escape from work & get ready for trip.

Saturday : Plan to go to Ikea, otherwise stay in Ipoh.

Sunday : Attending friend's wedding in Batu Gajah.

Monday : Back to Penang.

apple, anyone?

Last Friday, we left work place quite early and reached home around 6.45pm. Since the day was still bright, hubby suggested that we go for a walk since i need to exercise more. Aiyoo....damn sian.

Me : Can i bring an apple along during the walk?
Hubby: Why? (and continued to drink water)
Me : Cos i'm afraid i will go hungry while walking

Hubby started to puke water the moment i finished my sentence. The walk is less than 1km and i was being tam ciak as ever.

While i was ready to take my afternoon nap, i received a phone call from unknown number and it was zoe-t. Sorry, i guess i didn't have her latest number :P She said moomookun is in town with donuts and he wanted to pass some to me. And i thought he was joking when he wrote about it. Zoe-t gave him my number and i asked her how should i address him? Takkan want to call him MooMooKun? Weird huh? She didn't know the real identity too, so i waited for him to call me back since i dun have his contact. MMK called me and the reception in my house was pretty bad and finally we agreed to meet up at Sunway Mall just for donuts. Reached the mall entrance and i waited for a guy in pink shirt as told but shortly after that, received an sms from him and realised i waited at the wrong place :p So sorry.

Finally, saw MMK in person together with his girl. Tall, bigger than hubby but not too old. Maybe same age as me? I was too paiseh and he made me more paiseh by asking me to choose the donuts of my choice. So after taking what he had recommended, thanked him & waved good bye.

I walked away happily and hopped into the car. Hubby asked me, so how much was the donuts? OH MY GOD!!!! Stupid stupid stupid me, i forgot to pay MMK!!!!! So embarassing. Hubby scolded me and i called up MMK immediately. I hope his didn't think that i did that on purpose, not paying up upon delivery. You say lar, embarassing or not? What a good first impression i gave people. I'm tam ciak & i'm greedy. MMK, if i ever go to KL, will surely get you some donuts too in return.

wa lang si Hokkien lang

Hubby wants to unsubscribe Dynasty Package from Astro and i agree with him. Cos, when there are only two of us at home, we watch other channels other than Wah Lai Toi & all the Chinese movies channels. Once in a while there is good show on WLT but most of the time we just skip that channel. In-laws, however, will glue to the tv for about 4-hours watching repeated Chinese series on TVB and i'll be like dungu sitting together with them. Sometimes, i have to give up my CSI series on Sunday when they want to watch another 4-hours chinese series. So i'm so glad when hubby told me Dynasty Package will be taken out from our monthly subscription.

Manatau, my happiness was cut short as he wants to replace Dynasty with Gold. For those who have Astro at home, you will know my misery. HUA HEE TAI = Endless HOKKIEN series!!! Ya allah!!! Cry here cry there, cry cry everywhere. Shout here shout there, shout everywhere.

There goes my AXN again. Cis!!!! But can i have Metro Package? *eyes blinking and trying to look as innocent as possibe*

life is good with Ashop

My online business is running slow lately. I have done so much updating to it but the response to the sale is low. I'm wondering why is that so. There are so many nice and colorful catalogues, with fancy wordings. Layout of the pages are neat and not too confusing. There is no broken links and customers get to move around easily within the website. And i have no idea why the sale is still low this month and i hope it's not getting any lower. If there is no other choice, i just have to shutdown my entire online shop, which is the last resort.

Anyway, it was my luck that i saw Ashop Commerce. I have read about it somewhere but have not really understand what it does. So when i browsed their website, i was thrilled. They have just the solution i needed for to save my online business. It has shopping cart software and entire set of ecommerce software for online businesses like me. Now i don't have to maintain my website so often, and all i need is to update the list of items in my catalogue periodically to ensure my customers get the most updated list. All other tasks will be taken care by Ashop Commerce. Life is good.

I was being cheeky this morning while in the car. I showed hubby my round tummy and told him that my tummy will be like this even after i give birth. The night before we saw Plastic Surgery show on Health & Living (or was it Health & Family) and they did tummy tuck for a mother of two. He assured me that he will still love me and won't ditch me for another sexier girl. And that he will be sponsoring me to all the slimming programs i want. Sound like so sweet huh?

But i told him, i will be signing up for these slimming programs AFTER my 3rd labor. He went "WHAT?!?!!??!!?!?!?" :p

Wondering whether hubby is bringing me out for lunch today since i have a VIP car park reserved for me already. Yeap, i've gotten the letter from doc saying i'm too heavy to walk for long distance. So starting from today until 13March 2008, i'll be parking my car beside the managers :P

wedding nightmare

Looking at my other friends and sister preparing their weddings, I'm always glad that my wedding was over already. It was nightmare for us both and arguements every single day. Hubby had to kill two birds with one stone, house warming & wedding. So we needed to rush for two things at the same time. And to add to our misery, hubby was sent overseas on business trip for 2 months and only back 3 weeks before our actual date. We only managed to register our marriage a week before the wedding day. Every was such a rush but it ended well on our wedding day. Phew....

difference between guys and girls

Just had a chat with my friend who is going to get married next week. Guys and girls have different ways in managing their wedding preparation. I asked him, did he find it very irritating when someone just say bad things behind his back about his wedding preparation. He said, he never bother to think about them at all. Wow, if only i could do the same last time.

never want to let go

Aiya, one of my opp just expired before i could even post it up. Nevermind, just say bye bye to $5. Lately, there are many opps offered to me and i have no time to write them all. I have a lot of work and i cannot spare time to write any paid posts at all even after office hours. Just too bad, i have to let go some of the opps although i didn't want to.
