this is not a sponsored post

In another one week, my blog will be approved by PayPerPost, hopefully. I tried to register my blog last November, but wasn't a frequent blogger at that time. For people like who spend most of the time in front of the computer, i rather forgo chatting & start writing post to earn more income.

For those who wants to register PayPerPost, you need to have an active blog with minimum of 20posts for the past 90days. And the majority of those posts may not be in one solid month. Happy blogging :)

good bye, Tengai

It's not a dog or a pet. It's a motorbike, by the name Tengai (Kawasaki model).

I have no idea why it's named like that. FIL informed us that there is a buyer finally. I didn't reliaze last 2 weeks was my last time to sit on it. This bike is quite huge & high, noisy & fast.

The first time i sat on it was about 2 years ago. Kinda scary at first cos i know how to ride on EX5. Hubby went round Peninsular Msia with in-laws on that bike too, he was only 17. FIL has a lot of bikes in his shop, they are all his assets & will not be sold to anybody. This weekend, we can no longer can save on penang bridge toll as the bike will be gone by this afternoon.

FIL is planning to buy another superbike now, Africa Twin. A second hand AT costs around RM30K+, and there are limited units in Penang only. I rather they spend the money on a car perhap - RM27k brand new Iswara ;)

i have blogS

I have a few other blogs which you may want to visit. Some are about my personal life while the rest are just to make extra pocket money for myself.

Stories to Share
Life at Work

See how long can i last in this blogging world :P

a day out with in-laws

FIL decided to be adventurous and wanted to go to a temple somewhere off Alor Star. So off we went right after we finished cleaning the room after the toilet renovation. I even had to put hair mostuirizer in the car cos it was getting late. The journey took about 1hour 40mins instead of 2 hours+, hubby sped all the way there. Dropped halfway to fill up the petrol while i grabbed ice creams for everybody, hubby & i didn't have lunch except 2 slices of leftover pizza from Weds :P

Reached the temple finally. We were greeted by 2 large elephants at the entrance, fake ones lar. The temple looks very deserted. No monks, no human. Just a few stray dogs. Eerie too cos it was already 5pm. Walked around and the sky threatened to rain. According to MIL, the place was used to be very crowded whenever they came, 4years ago :P Tourists & local flood the temple to ask for 4D. I've not heard of this, have you? Right before we left the temple, saw 2 monks on their way towards the temple. Fortunately for us, he was the chief monk of that temple and we managed to invite a Buddha statue from the temple. Happy us. Actually, the place is still very famous according to the chief monk, just that he had to go back to Bangkok for prayers for about a month, and only returned a couple of days ago. No wonder no visitors.

We managed to stop at Gurun to grab some frogs for dinner. Gurun is famous for frogs by the way. The meals for 4 of us only came up to RM58. So cheap... Half dead when we reached home. Poor hubby.

more cleaning

Sunday morning, wanted to go marketing but the house renovation guy was at our gate when we were about to leave. The tiles of the toilet in my room are uneven causing water to be stagnant in the toilet. I fell in the toilet once and broke the jade bracelet given by MIL before i got married & bruised my thigh :P Clumsy huh :P We lied to in-laws & parents on how the jade bracelet broke. I spent the afternoon watching Amazing Race re-run & harassing the Astro remote control, water the plants, wash some clothes..etc.. Yeah, i'm practicing how to become a housewife :P

The worker took 2hours to replace 16 tiles and we took 30mins to clean up 70% of the room only. Luckily i've removed all the things from our room to in-law's. Wanted to spend more time to clean up the whole room but we were rushing to leave go for prayers in Langgar, Alor Star (or Perlis).

Alamak, just remembered i left a cup of kopi peng in the fridge.....

family first

oh dear, my colleague's 8-month-old son was admitted to the hospital just due to breathing difficulties. Pity the girl, she almost cried just now while telling me about her baby. Boss was not around but if i were her, i wouldn't care less. Family comes first, don't you agree?

99%

oh yeah, my fren just told me that her husband and her got offerred jobs in US for 4 years. Could it be real? I advised her that she has to find out more about this job offer. It seems like a good opportunity to both of them, but nobody can deny that there will be hidden information. Is it a trap or opportunity? She will tell me more tomorrow.

long live mat rempit....

FIL got mugged 1 day before we return from our honeymoon. It was only 4.30am when he was on the way to deliver newspapers. The traffic lights turned green and before he could move, another motorbike went in front and stopped him. Knowing they are Mat Rempit, he tried to escape by doing a U-turn to the road opposite. At that moment, another motorbike came up from behind, he was trapped between 2 bikes. One of the Mat Rempit got down from the bike with a knife wrapped with newspapers and held it to FIL's neck. 2nd MR snatched his pouch while 3rd MR inspected his clothes for more valuable things. 4th MR looked out for police. Very cooperative & fast. Within seconds, they took off from there, but one bike U-turn and went back to FIL. Stupid MR, they couldn't find FIL wallet from the pouch, so went back to FIL to check. FIL had to tell them the wallet is located in another section in the pouch....stupid. So off they escaped. What to do, FIL reported to the police. Hua...the policeman told him that he was the 11th person to report to police that very day. MR gang robbed 11 persons within 2 hours on the same day. What is the policeman doing??

just FYI

31 March 2007

My 3rd sis is getting married. Did you know how she broke the news to up? First we were treated for a meal near grandpa's place. Dinner was just okay, lack of food i could say. First round, 4 plates of dishes and my da jie and i were shocked that's it for dinner. Luckily, 3rd sis continued to order another 3 plates of food but also finished in no time. My stomach was still very empty. Nevermind, since it was a treat, so just kept quiet with empty stomach.

We went back to mum's apt after dinner to celebrate her bday. Helped mum to bring down some canned drinks & 3rd sis bought a minute cake. No Secret Recipe cake? Sang bday song and asked her to make a wish. She didn't want to make a wish, but instead just broke the news that she is getting married. I was not shocked at all cos this is something we all already expected after my weddding & after the strings of questions she asked me about weddings. She told us the ddate is 1st Dec, but mum corrected her. OKay, still cool about this. And if you know me, it's usual for me to post long lists of questions to her. When is tai chan, where is the dinner, all those wedding related questions. Apparently, her tai chan also already over!! Wow, why parents are so secretive about her wedding? Then i started to ask more questions and everything seemed to be already confirmed. Venues, time, plans.....without telling us in advance. At that moment, i was so angry with them all. They dun treat me like one of them. They dun even care to discuss anything with us or at least inform me when they were in the mid of planning the wedding. Why not they just send us the invitation card one month before the wedding, just to inform us of the date & venue.

I was really upset, really upset.

honeymoon III

22 March
The moment we got onto the bus, the tour guide was busy telling us about Empress Dowager using pearl cream last time. Wow, i think my dermalogica works better..hehehe. Anyway, we went into the factory in groups. The salesgirl demo-ed some experiments for us, before we proceed to the next trap. Yeah, i label it as trap, you will know why soon. So, this guy took out a box consists of 6 bottle of pearl cream & added 4 bottles if we buy the 6 bottles. Total is RMB900 for 10bottles of pearl cream, equivalent to RM45 each. Before we even tried to negotiate for a better price, he kept all the bottles and asked us to leave. So rude!! Of cos we just leave lar, so action. To be continued....

honeymoon II

21 March 2007

Touched down on Beijing international airport. Saw a lot of Chinaman + ang mohs. Queued up for such a long time before we were instructed to put on our long johns. I was practically sweating in the toilet while trying so hard to put on the long john. So tight and uncomfortable. Later we were introduced to our tour guide, a big sized guy. The moment we stepped out from the airport, could feel mist coming out from our mouth. Was so amazed and excited of cos. First destination was to have another round of breakfast. They fed us well. Little did we know that it was going to be the best breakfast in Beijing.

It took about 30mins before we reached Tianmen Square to see the big pic of Mao Tze Dong. Lots of chinaman around and it was so cold i couldn't stop shivering. Hands were freezing and it was only 7degrees. Like all other tours, we were intro to our videoman who would be following us for the rest of the trip. I couldn't care less for her since i have my very own videoman (my dear hubby). Half sleepy & half cold, we followed the tour guide to go around the place until we ended up in Forbidden City. Can you believe that if we didn't ask the tour guide, we wouldn't know that we're in forbidden city at all. Nothing spectacular about FC since most of the structures are under renovation.

Took lots of pics then we proceeded to have our Emperor's Lunch. The dishes were nothing to shout about. Fried fish, meat, veggies....nothing special to us. The tour guide was so kind and allowed us to check in to have 3hours of sleep before we proceed to the next destination. I took off my heavy jacket + long john and felt unconscious on the bed in the hotel room.

Right before dinner, we were dropped to shop in town area near a big church. We didn't want to buy anything at first, until we came to Baleno. It was having sale there. I got myself 2 wool shirt which were only RM10 each. Hubby got himself 2 pairs of pants, RM20 each.

honeymoon I

20 March 2007

Our cold war has not ended. We went to office with our darkest face even on our honeymoon day. After work, bathed and sis dropped us at the airport. Anyway, by the time we were in the airport, both of us felt better and started to tease each other in the airport while waiting for the stupid flight. Just an hour before we check-into the departure lounge, i saw Nicol David, the world squash champion. Was desperate to take pics with her but hubby said no. My face turned dark again until we got on the flight. Hubby explaining to me why he got so upset with me & persuaded me to be happy. Okay, i gave in in the end :) My first experience on the flight was wonderful. I got to watch a few movies & went for a few rounds of drinks and food. It was so great, free movies + food. We finally slept at around 2am but woke up again at 5am for breakfast.

Honeymoon

19 March 2007

On the night before our honeymoon, we had our heated arguement again. This time, it's about which luggage to bring and what things to pack. He wanted to bring so many things while i on the other hand wanted to bring a lot of EMPTY bags, just in case we need to pack more things home from beijing. So ended up i went to sleep before we even finished packing up our things.
